in search for an artist for LOAD!

Dec 14, 2009 I ICT-related, fedora, load.

We are searching for some graphical talents that want to show off with a nice logo!
We had a meeting today about the FOSS event for system administrators, and we came up wit the name ‘LOAD’, or: Linux Open Administration Days.

anyway, we need a logo now.. So, if you’re an expert, and you want to have eternal respect from us, create a logo!

You can send the logo to biertie at fedoraproject dot org. the deadline is 28december. I hope you guys can come up with something nice!

* if you win this competition, we want the svg file too.

    Hello,

I subscribed to the load site, great concept, but there is still no info at all, may be something like:

We would like people to use this real live forum to share linux administration experiences. Some demos will be given. Some podium talks will be held by some interesting linux administrators to share us their personal experiences and explain some good practice and stuff to avoid and why…
If you feel you have something interesting to share on Linux administration and you dare to speak in front of an average sized audience, please register as speaker.

BTW: I write it here because I can’t on the load site itself.
BBTW: I am a lousy speaker, I let pass this opportunity.

    Hey Bert,

There is something strange with the time stamps of the replies.
BTW: I meant, “I let pass this opportunity” to speak :-)
As a novice professional Linux admin (almost 1 year, before that 10 year of M$ and Linux only as hobbyist) , I would like to come and tap into the experience you share.
