Day 2 was more of the same :-)

I got up, showered and showed up at the venue around 8.30am to set up the booth again. The crazy FreeBSD guy gave everyone who had booth service at that time the BSD devil horns. After some hours at the booth I went with Adriana outside, where she sprayed my hair blue-ish. I attended the talk about docbook and publican by our new FPL, Jared smith. publican is a real cool and easy system to write documentation in docbook (XML DTD standard), so I would suggest to everyone to try it out.. Spots talk about packaging and legal issues was interesting too, and I’m really happy there are companies and people who care about free software, and try to convince other companies to relicense their code. Jared’s talk about Asterix was also cool, so I think I can say that the quality of the sessions were very high! Coolness all over in Zurich!

I think it was because I was running around with the BSD horns I eventually got a real red hat! It’s a pitty that I had to give it back the next day :-(.
In the evening we had our traditional FUDpub, which was very nice. I had a long chat with Mr. Oostergo, from Zarafa about Linux, Zarafa, Free Software, parties and travelling. First time I really talked to him (but I already met him at Loadays), but looking forward to see him again. Really interesting person. The Czech boys (and girl) wanted me to go with them to the bunker, to get drunk and do stupid things, but because all my gear was in in Jeroen’s hotel room, I followed Jeroen.

After FUDpub we tried the night-life in Zurich, where I found out how expensive Zurich really is.. >5Euro for a beer? I mean wtf..
We just missed the night train to the hotel, so Jeroen paid the taxi. I owe him so much after this FUDcon..
